If you're looking for a lively KTV experience with a wide selection of venues and services, you'd be better off heading to larger cities like Guangzhou, Shenzhen, or Zhuhai—these cities boast rows upon rows of premium KTV spots for you to explore. However, if you still want to enjoy KTV in Changping, you do have options.

There are currently around 8 KTV venues in Changping where you can book a private room and choose a DJ (often referred to as "princesses") to accompany your group. The typical rate is between 500 to 600 RMB per person, covering the experience from 8 PM until closing time at around 2 AM. During this time, the DJ will join your group to sing, dance, play games, and share drinks, making it a lively and interactive night out.

Compared to major cities where similar services might cost between 800 to 2000 RMB— Changping offers one of the most affordable and interactive experiences in China. That said, it’s important to note that requests to spend time with DJs outside the venue are generally not accommodated as they typically only work in the KTV boxes.

From February 8th to 18th this year, I had the privilege of leading a trip to Xi'an and Beijing, both of which I shared on my WeChat Moments. Unlike Guangdong, where modern urban life tends to dominate, Xi'an offers a wealth of historical sites to explore, ensuring you’ll never run out of things to do during the day. As for food, the city's specialty lies in noodles, and it boasts a wide variety of halal restaurants. This makes Xi’an an ideal destination for those traveling with (or entertaining) Malays, or anyone looking to enjoy authentic halal cuisine. When it comes to nightlife, you can consider Xi'an a complete replica of the facilities found in the original Dongguan, with an emphasis on entertainment and unique experiences. For instance, there's the popular SN One Dragon Waterbed for in-person selection, offering a distinct nightlife experience. KTV venues here are more relaxed compared to Dongguan, with options to enjoy a carefree night, complete with hostesses attired in braless lingerie. When we visited a renowned KTV over the Chinese New Year holidays, there were over 100 hostesses. This is a remarkable turnout for this period, as many other venues tend to offer much fewer hostesses during the CNY period - some as few as 10 hostesses. It has been brought to my attention that during regular periods (outside of CNY) more than 300-400 hostesses would be available. This is by no means an exaggeration. Today, I’d like to update you regarding the current state of KTV in China. In the past, people who went to KTV in China often went to Guangdong. However, after the Dongguan raid in 2014 and the Huizhou raid in Danshui in 2018, most people now prefer to go to KTVs in Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and Zhuhai. Team Phillip has been in Guangdong since 2012, and no one knows the top KTVs in Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and Zhuhai better than I do. I’ve heard that in recent years, KTVs outside Guangdong have become even more exciting. In 2024, our team expanded to three popular areas in Changchun (North East China), Chongqing, and Chengdu.
