I've only experienced Songkran one time in BKK. Sorry but Songkran is not for me because I don't like to get splashed with water/flour from inconsiderate fools. Also Songkran period is a bad time for cheongsters to come. Obviously I think I don't need to explain why it is so.
u mean songkran is a bad time is cus of the getting wet part?
i tot lots of thais always chioing us to go down during songkran saying its one of most sanuk festivals?


i hear many tourist spots like Pattaya, Phuket, Hua Hin, Koh Samui normally will be quite deserted as many will go back to their hometown to visit their parents, but seems from many reports, BKK is still bustling during this period esp. the discos n g-clubs?
