Recommend you to book under your name as 1 person first, while she waits at the lift hidden from reception or wait at the lobby sofas. After you received the keycard, both of you can enter the lift together.

I think most budget hotels don’t have this problem, what you need to do is just check in first, then meet the girl outside then bring her in.

I rember a funny Situation with my ex wife 🤣🤣

We was in Taipei and we really need find a toilet in the place where we Had been was No Option of a toilet Just many Hotels.

At First my ex Go to the Hotel reception and asked If we could use a toilet No No.

Than we Go into a Hotel and she asked for a " short time"
We get it Without Problem 😎
