IMPORTANT PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE SENDING ME A MESSAGE!! Hey I know its too much to ask but my gf just notified me she doesn't want couples that smoke. Its rare and I know its near impossible but I have to respect her decision and count myself lucky that I have a gf that is at least open to swinging.

You know what? You should perhaps have another serious talk with your girlfriend. It is alright to set criteria & requirements. In fact it is a good idea.

But:
1) Does your gf have what it takes as well? *swings' not just about fxxx & go*
2) Is she just giving "excuses" because she is getting the cold feet? *if yes, trust me, we'll be witnessing a constant repeat of today's saga*
3) How sure are you that your girlfriend is ready to swing? *is she doing this just to please you?*
4) She is only 18!! Age is no barrier, but wtf do you want a 18 year old to swing? *let her go enjoy dating and having sex the way she knows it*

I'm sorry I am being blunt here as well. But wasting people's time this way is a big no no. Not your fault. But you should have a talk with her. If she's sure she's open to it, then it's only fair you guys treat the other couples with respect, be responsible & handle the matter wisely. If she is not, then perhaps you should respect her.

I guess its hard to sit down and talk to her sometimes cause she is the happy go luck sort. I do all the worrying and planning while she has all the fun.

True I totally agree swing is not about just Fxxk and go. Its about chemistry that both couples must have with one another. I guess she and me have different mindsets. But every couple has their yin and their yang.
She and I can be quite different. I'm the anything goes sort and I don't really mind and I believe a person's/couple's character is important. Looks aren't everything.

Nah she definitely doesn't have cold feet, cause the first time we did a swing we went full, in the same room with another couple, full swap. So thats not an issue.

I don't think she is doing it to please me cause she is kinda wild and horny and it also pleases her, so i guess its mutual pleasure to both of us. To see one another being pleasured side by side.

Yeah I guess she is really young thats why maybe she hasn't thought out all the finer details yet. But before she met me, she already went for a 3some online. So I suggested swinging and believe me she is ready for it.

There is no commitment between two couples and if one couple is not comfortable with the other ;you can excuse yourselves gracefully .There is NO OBLIGATIONS ! Its a understanding that both couples should have . However during the initial exchange of info like stats , or even photo exchange . You should be able to access the couple and make up your mind to accept or refuse the couple without meeting .

However , chemistry is profound . There are occasions that the mere sight of the other couple is unbearable ( I simply hate his guts or i don't like the gal 's attitude ) so its always a thrill or a surprise or maybe a disappointment when meeting up with other couples . Go with a open heart to make friends , if anything happens its a bonus . With this mentality , you will never go wrong .

Each couple is unique , they have their own preferences ! likes and dislikes ! Its hard to please all honestly . But a basic respect should be given to each . This is why some couples don't join group swings cos they have stricter requirements and some only join group swings cos they dislike the disapprovals and rejections from others when meeting couple to couple .

I do not mean to say that couples who meet up must immediately go for the full works of it all. It all depends on what is your said arrangement with the other couple. Is it to meet up to swing? Or meet up to have a feel of one another first? Of course if it's the latter, either party can walk away & not swing.

You make them go all the way down and dismiss them the moment you hear they smoke? Whoa .... a really pure waste of time. I mean, these are things that can be pre-defined beforehand. We should always be mindful and respectful of other people's time.

And what I am more gutted about are overly eager guys who bring unsuspecting partners who doesn't know or doesn't want to swing. Or girls who had agreed but get the cold feet upon arrival. Then .. lotsa commotion after that. Really a spoiler.

Thanks for replying to my thread jas dude. Brilliant words of advice and can see you are speaking from experience. In fact we agreed to meet just to chat and we were thinking of swinging as a bonus..i saw it with an open mind and so did my partner. I mean if you meet up with a couple and nothing happens we still get to meet 2 new people for the day.

Actually its okay to unleash it on me in life i always believe in negative and positive feedback, its pain and hard to hear but its alwaya necessary without it i wouldnt be who i am today. Anyway i think i'm being wronged here a bit so I would like to clarify the matter at hand and i guess sometimes honesty does get you in a bit of trouble.

It is partly my fault as i thought that she had finalised out all her terms with me. But i did give her my word before we agreed to couple swing that ultimately the choice to swing with a couple or not is hers, for me i am very easy to please and will mostly be okay with anything but I still have my standards of course. But i still believe chemistry is important, but it wins over looks. For this i take full responsibilty and believe me i was a bit frustrated when she said she wasn't keen yesterday as I was quite attracted to the couple and was actually hoping to swing with them. When I was talking to them I found that they met all her terms and was sure it was a done deal.

But when she heard they smoked or saw that they did, it must have somehow triggered off something as she told me her ex used to smoke and she didn't like it, maybe it brought back bad memories for her. But I didn't ask her what was the reason why she didn't like smokers and respected her decision.

Even getting up from the chair was really hard and having to walk away was even harder but I just had to put on a false smile and agree with her decision as I have given her my word.

When we met the couple yesterday we did have an agreement that we would talk it out first, list down our terms and come to an agreement. If both couples were comfortable then we would go ahead with the swing. I don't think any couple would just meet up and head straight to a swing right? And we didn't exchange pictures with the couple as they were not agreeable to exchange pictures. But I respected their privacy and decision. Instead me and my gf took a chance in meeting them and were hoping to swing. Maybe indirectly we gave the couple false hope that the swing was going to happen, but in fact we did agree to meet up to have a feel of one another first.

To this I agree that I did waste their time and I am sorry, thats why I felt so bad afterwards and would really like to make it up to them another day. BUT in my defense if you actually see it from a bigger picture, I could have just messaged the couple saying that she wasn't agreeable to it and I didn't have to explain why. But I really liked them and was a bit reluctant to not be able to swing with them, so I felt that I owed it to them to tell them the real reason why my gf wasn't up for it as I didn't want them to go back thinking there was something wrong with them. As being turned down is never easy. But on the other hand if I was in the couple's shoes I would be pissed to. But to cut things short..I didn't know about this bit of information too, I too found out about it at the last minute and was caught off guard as well.

Trust me she is not unsuspecting even though she is young, she fully agreed to this and has already done a full swing in the same room with me with another couple not from SBF. She definitely doesn't get cold feet and doesn't have cold feet, she is just a bit choosy. But so was I at that age and I only got less choosy after negative feedback and experiences in life. Though I agree it really is a spoiler and I won't let this happen again.
