Dude got voted player of the club for Getafe.

Happy for him.

He did well despite he was off compettive football for 18 months.

He is a good fit at the right wing. And he is lethal with both feet.

I do like him, but I'm afraid there is no way back for him to England.

The ladies team had openly voiced out they see Greenwood as a threat to their safety at the club premises.
Plus, he is deemed a bad influence on the young fans. Those small kids.
In addition, sponsors do not want their products to be associated with him.

Man U will do well to cash in if there is an offer or hopefully Getafe wants to buy him over.

Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours

So far, still no significant news from Man Utd.
Except Sancho issuing a ETH or me statement, which I think both should go.
No room for Sancho ultimatum behaviour, regardless of if ETH deserves it or not.

The longer it drags on, I feel it is more likely ETH will remain.
LVG was sacked 2 days after FA Cup win, ETH is still around after nearly 2 weeks.
But the lack of statements from Man Utd regarding the future of ETH only adds uncertainty to the club, directly affecting transfers.

Read a recent article on Luke Shaw and his injuries.
As an injured player returning to fitness, he was played relentlessly, it caused further injuries. Rinse and repeat.
Most managers would handle players returning from injuries more delicately, play them sparingly, give more time to reach full fitness, but not for ETH.
He has to shoulder some blame for the injury crisis at Man Utd.

Hopefully there will be some news or statement coming from Man Utd soon.

SJR looks no different from the glaziers, dilly dallying n so slow in making decisions until the last minute find their targets stolen from under their noses like b4...the only difference is he keep on cutting staff n expenses

I think ETH shd be allowed to continue for the 1st 6 games of the new season to see his performance....if he loses all or most of them, then he shd be fired n a new manager brought in...don't say never give him a chance....in 6 or 7 games shd know how good or bad a manager is

Looks at the players he brought last season… did they make a great impact on the team? Next season will be the same… blood vomiting season…

We won’t even be challenging for the title next season…

Please prove me wrong botak

Sadly, I do not think he is the right manager for Man U,,,,
Too straight minded; not flexible to change tactics/players...

Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours

To be certain, a mess was already made when there was no quick announcement on ETH future.
Made worse with Tuchel saying out of running.
ETH is feeling, could not get others, so sticking with me till someone they want comes along.

This does give ETH a nothing to lose footing, where he can boldly play new strats.

Sir Alex was also strongly rumoured to be sacked until he won the FA Cup, and the rest is history.
But his man management skills still suck balls, eg Sancho.

Can ETH be SAF 2.0 ?

Can only hope.

ETH gets to stay on as Man U manager.

The FA Cup saved his job. :D

ETH will stay as manager for the next season

moving forward... assuming ETH has funds to improve the squad, he must build the squad around fernandes and the core of young players esp hojlund, mainoo, garnacho. man u need to sign 2 defenders, a DC and a DRLC, and a SC, and conclude the business before preseason starts

confirmed departures are varane, martial, forson, b.williams, alvaro fernandez, shoretire, wish them all the best

Really wonder who would want to join? :D

I doubt they can get any big name since not playing in UCL.

Hope ETH won't go around digging Ajax again.:p

yup agree, maybe the best way is to utilise the new staffs' connections (to their former clubs) to sign new players. or sign defenders from championship clubs? or loan out-of-favour defenders from other PL clubs? these are short term measures though

long term wise, improve the scouting network to discover potential gems

That wasn't my wish bro WankJanice...I would rather a better manager like Zidane, nigelsmann take over....just that since he won the FA cup n the last 2 games n as there r no better manager available then let him carry on for a while more lor....but if he continues to lose matches in the new season then he shd be replaced immediately like most clubs do or like how they fired OGS n LVG

Bro Rickey, I think it is an inevitable compromise.
They are not in the CL, so hard to get a good manager.
So stay with him for now but, if still poor results, there will be a change.

We can only wait and see.
CAnt get the best players; they tried to before by over-paying but no more..

So, best bet is home grown talents , just like SAF years ago.

Cheers

Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours

Except a bid for Jarrad Branthwaite, no significant news.
It appears that Greenwood and Sancho are getting some attention, but Sancho could be a tricky sell with 340k pounds/week salary.

Before ETH was confirmed to remain as manager and in limbo state, no other clubs approached him, not even rumours.
Bayern would rather go for Kompany than him, not sure what this speaks of ETH's profile and stature in footballing world.

Before any players moving out, Man Utd has a budget of £50 million pounds.
Not going to stretch too far.
Could be a tactic, so clubs would not expect too much from Man Utd for transfer fees.
And there is Fernandez and ETH new contracts to negotiate.

Well, the transfer window just opened few days ago, and there are more than 30+ days remaining.
Bated breath on incoming/outgoing news.
