Bao'ed is still possible but to be Bao'ed and then 赎身 is a completely different story as the amount of damage is significantly higher. So far a few WL quoted me a price for 赎身 RTC and it's within the range I've calculated earlier in another thread, $200K - $250K. It's all based on logical realistic calculation per their max earning power for a full two years (with 50% discount) . Anything above this amount will need further proof of worthiness. S$200K or RMB$1M+ is already worth a fortune in China in Tier 3 cities or even country side which is where most WLs came from.
The initial phase always involve being Bao'ed for a short period with further extensions if the WL can proof her worth and if passed the final test then can tio 赎身 but it's also complex as it involved emotional connection and chemistry as well.
Cat 1: 1st Gen 富豪
Any 1st gen 富豪 are 老江湖身经百战 and earned their monies through sheer hard work knowing money is hard to come by hence always comes with ROI mindset and they also have certain shortfalls whether in terms of age or looks (looks like ghost etc.) as they are unable to get better quality premium FL mistress outside. So they are forced to come to GL. Hence their Baoing comes with strict conditions (exclusivity, reporting, full disclosure of evidence etc.). Else who the fark wants to bao a WL, knowing that she has already been up by so many men on a daily basis, not forgetting risks being bullied etc. you know what kind of treatment (creampied, forced raw'ed etc.). This is one factor.
Cat 2: 富二代
As for younger 富二代 who don't value monies they will be at KTV, night clubs, sugarbooks, modelling events, influencers and even celebrities etc. finding more exclusive SYT goods, rather than degrade themselves and come to such lower-level places.
Cat 3: Carrot Heads
Of course there are still those not so wealthy foolish Carrot Heads or 冤大头 tio KCT who are still willing to part with their life savings despite knowing 最终踏入一条注定无归的绝路。But you can see the the numbers are dwindling down to a trickle throughout the past two decades with less KCT stories as most have already learned their lessons from others.
Cat 4: Big Cannon Fairy
Of course the final category is the Dua Pao Xian - Big Cannon Fairy category in GL to deceive WLs by giving false hopes to obtain their affections and best services then when tested suddenly MIA, keep delaying the process or give excuses that the WLs fail the test. These people often give ridiculous fantasy like hopes, including promises of not just baoing, or sending them back to China but even continue to bao them as mistresses when RTC with high monthly allowance LMAO. (These are real encounters shared by WLs to me on many occasions, all similar empty promises)
That being said, 所谓 “非我族类，其心必异”。PRC WLs and locals are almost impossible to co-mingle together due to differences in culture and the language barrier. And we are talking about PRC WL ladies who are known to 深不可测 and often come here with 不可告人的秘密, some are so scary that will never be accepted by real rich local men who would rather choose locals or FLs than to discover such horrors. So the chances of WL meeting a rich guy willing to bao and sending them back is almost zero.
Hence unfortunately, Cat 4 is the most rampant in GL and most likely she tio this type, LOL.;)
But as usual, WLs always like to dream of being bao'ed and sent back by their 'Prince Charming' one day although most esp. those more wiser or senior ones have already given up hopes and accept their fate that '我没有这个命'。
